The London Drupal Meetup for March, with Dries
06 Apr 2010
The largest Drupal, beer and chat event in London was a tremendous success. We had around 130 people turn up including Dries, the founder of the Drupal project. Dries did a 45 minute Q&A session, talking on a wide range of issues from the imminent release of Drupal 7 to how the future of Drupal could be affected by the uncertain future of MySQL.
We had Drupalers from all areas come along including the leading Drupal agencies of London, Oxford, Manchester and people from IPC media, Dennis Publishing, Cap Gemini, National Strategies and many more organisations.
The next Drupal meetup will be back at the Square Pig on Monday 26th of April, for more information see the meetup page. The London Drupal meetup is on the last Monday of every month and is orgranised by C&W. Thanks to Judy Li for the photos of the event below, if you would like hi-res versions of any of these, just get in touch.
